Great performance but kids annoy
The performance was truly enjoyed by my wife and I. Surprisingly, the sound was good for an arena. I had doubts that an orchestra would sound like anything other than mud in that space, but it worked out. It would have been cool if they had one more star of the film there to work with, but overall, we give it a thumbs up on the narration.
What didn't work for me was the parents who brought their kids and let them do whatever they please. At a hundred bucks a ticket and being an orchestral performance, I wouldn't expect to have kids kicking my seat and carrying on throughout the show. It really was a downer for me. I paid for the performance, not to listen to a bunch of 8-year olds bicker, rustle about and yell out the name of the film that each clip being shown was from. At first, it was cute... then it just got downright distracting. Too bad Jabba wasn't there to freeze them in carbonite for a few hours.
